Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 114% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

In value terms, mushroom and truffle imports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, imports showed a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 133% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest mushroom and truffle supplier to Ghana, accounting for a 57% share of total imports.
