Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, railway passenger coach imports dropped markedly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 238,196%. Imports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

Denmark (X units), Spain (X units) and China (X units) were the main suppliers of railway passenger coach imports to Ghana, together accounting for 75% of total imports.
