Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, pasta and couscous imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 1,113%. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Nigeria (X tons) constituted the largest pasta and couscous supplier to Ghana, with a 62% share of total imports.
