The second position in the ranking was taken by the United Arab Emirates ($X), with a 10% share of total exports. It was followed by the United States, with a 4.8% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Cote d'Ivoire stood at +38.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the United Arab Emirates (+114.9% per year) and the United States (+38.3% per year).

The average television receiver export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, with an increase of 8.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 103% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports into Ghana

In 2022, the amount of television receivers imported into Ghana soared to X units, increasing by 21% against the year before. In general, imports continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 90% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

In value terms, television receiver imports reduced to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 77%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then declined in the following year.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest television receiver supplier to Ghana, with a 90% share of total imports.
