Exports by Country
Turkey dominates exports structure, amounting to X tons, which was near 72% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Thailand (X tons), achieving a 5.7% share of total exports. The following exporters - India (X tons), Ukraine (X tons), Italy (X tons) and China (X tons) - together made up 12% of total exports.
Exports from Turkey increased at an average annual rate of +13.4% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Ukraine (+23.5%), Italy (+8.4%), Thailand (+4.4%) and India (+2.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Ukraine emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +23.5% from 2012-2021. By contrast, China (-5.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Turkey and Ukraine increased by +17 and +2.1 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Turkey ($X) remains the largest feldspar supplier worldwide, comprising 59% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by India ($X), with a 6.4% share of global exports. It was followed by Thailand, with a 3.5% share.
In Turkey, feldspar exports expanded at an average annual rate of +15.7% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: India (+4.9% per year) and Thailand (+4.7% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The average feldspar export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, declining by -4.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average export price increased by 12% against the previous year. The global export price peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was India ($X per ton), while Thailand ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Overall, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.7% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Over the period under review, total imports indicated prominent growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.3% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
In 2021, Spain (X tons) and Italy (X tons) represented the key importers of feldsparacross the globe, together amounting to near 55% of total imports. Bangladesh (X tons) took the next position in the ranking, followed by Russia (X tons). All these countries together took near 14% share of total imports. Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons), Poland (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Indonesia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Bangladesh (with a CAGR of +19.5%), while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Spain ($X), Italy ($X) and Russia ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, with a combined 54% share of global imports.
Among the main importing countries, Spain, with a CAGR of +21.0%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The average feldspar import price stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 6.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
