China represented the largest exporting country with an export of about X units, which recorded 63% of total exports. It was distantly followed by the Netherlands (X units), constituting a 17% share of total exports. The following exporters - the United States (X units), Germany (X units), Hong Kong SAR (X units) and Vietnam (X units) - together made up 11% of total exports.

China experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of laptops and palm-top computers. At the same time, Vietnam (+12.7%), the Netherlands (+10.6%), Hong Kong SAR (+3.6%) and Germany (+2.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Vietnam emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +12.7% from 2012-2021. The United States experienced a relatively flat trend pattern.
