While the share of China (+53 p.p.), Austria (+25 p.p.), Indonesia (+6 p.p.), India (+3.3 p.p.) and Belarus (+2.5 p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Austria ($X) remains the largest seeder and planter supplier worldwide, comprising 58% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by China ($X), with a 21% share of global exports. It was followed by Belarus, with a 7% share.
In Austria, seeder and planter exports declined by an average annual rate of -4.7% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: China (-12.8% per year) and Belarus (-10.1% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The average seeder and planter export price stood at $X per unit in 2021, rising by 2% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average export price increased by 6.6% against the previous year. The global export price peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Argentina ($X per unit), while China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a sharp curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 10% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of global imports remained at a lower figure.
