The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 140% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2020, and then declined rapidly in the following year.

Cyprus (X tons), Israel (X tons) and Albania (X tons) were the main destinations of lubricating oil additive exports from Greece, together accounting for 81% of total exports. Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 14%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Slovenia (with a CAGR of +224.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Cyprus ($X), Israel ($X) and Albania ($X) were the largest markets for lubricating oil additive exported from Greece worldwide, together comprising 74% of total exports. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 33%. The average lubricating oil additive import price stood at $X per ton in 2021, surging by 3.8% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when the average import price increased by 7.7%. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
