Exports by Country
Slovakia (X units) was the main destination for amplifier exports from Greece, with a 51% share of total exports. Moreover, amplifier exports to Slovakia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Cyprus (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Italy (X units), with a 6.1% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Slovakia totaled +3,859.2%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Cyprus (+26.9% per year) and Italy (+29.5% per year).
In value terms, Cyprus ($X), France ($X) and Italy ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for amplifier exported from Greece worldwide, with a combined 57% share of total exports. Slovakia, Canada, Germany and Estonia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 4.9%.
In terms of the main countries of destination, Slovakia, with a CAGR of +433.2%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Slovakia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Imports into Greece
In 2022, overseas purchases of amplifiers increased by 0.1% to X units, rising for the sixth year in a row after three years of decline. In general, imports continue to indicate a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 113%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
In value terms, amplifier imports dropped significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 115%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
Imports by Country
China (X units), Germany (X units) and the Netherlands (X units) were the main suppliers of amplifier imports to Greece, together accounting for 86% of total imports. Italy, Belgium, the UK and Denmark lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 7%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Italy (with a CAGR of +29.1%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($X) constituted the largest supplier of amplifiers to Greece, comprising 67% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by China ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by the Netherlands, with a 4.9% share.
