Bulgaria (X tons), Israel (X tons) and Turkey (X tons) were the main destinations of articles of zinc exports from Greece, with a combined 63% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Italy, Germany, Cyprus, Liberia, Romania and Montenegro, which together accounted for a further 29%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Italy (with a CAGR of +59.2%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the amount of articles of zinc imported into Greece soared to X tons, increasing by 16% against 2020 figures. Overall, imports showed a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 109%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, articles of zinc imports reduced to $X in 2021. In general, imports posted a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 83% against the previous year.
