Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, preserved fish fillet imports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 69% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Sweden (X tons), Denmark (X tons) and Cyprus (X tons) were the main suppliers of preserved fish fillet imports to Greece, together accounting for 89% of total imports.
