Germany (X tons), Romania (X tons) and the UK (X tons) were the main destinations of grape exports from Greece, together accounting for 57% of total exports.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when the average export price increased by 12% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Bulgaria ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Czech Republic (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, grape imports into Greece soared to X tons, picking up by 27% on the previous year. Overall, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 63%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, grape imports surged to $X in 2022. In general, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 56%. Imports peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

The Netherlands (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Spain (X tons) were the main suppliers of grape imports to Greece, with a combined 81% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by the Netherlands (with a CAGR of +12.4%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) constituted the largest supplier of grapes to Greece, comprising 55% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by Spain, with a 12% share.
