Italy (X tons) was the main destination for paper label exports from Greece, with a 42% share of total exports. Moreover, paper label exports to Italy exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Poland (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Bulgaria (X tons), with a 13% share.

Over the period under review, total imports indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.1% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
