Poland (X units), North Macedonia (X units) and Ghana (X units) were the main destinations of non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers exports from Greece, with a combined 67% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Ghana (with a CAGR of +1,310.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Poland ($X), Cyprus ($X) and North Macedonia ($X) constituted the largest markets for non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers exported from Greece worldwide, with a combined 67% share of total exports. In 2021, the average non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers export price amounted to $X per unit, reducing by -9.2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, enjoyed resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 122%. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Cyprus ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Imports into Greece
After two years of growth, supplies from abroad of non-electronic hydro-, hygro-, psychrometers decreased by -26.5% to X units in 2021. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.2% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 64%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2020, and then shrank markedly in the following year.
In value terms, non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers imports expanded to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a resilient expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 84% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

The Netherlands (X units), China (X units) and Poland (X units) were the main suppliers of non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers imports to Greece, together comprising 55% of total imports. Germany, Belgium, Italy, the UK, France, the United States and Austria lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 36%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Belgium (with a CAGR of +52.2%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X), Poland ($X) and Germany ($X) appeared to be the largest non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers suppliers to Greece, with a combined 47% share of total imports. In 2021, the average non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers import price amounted to $X per unit, with an increase of 41% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, non-electronic hydro- and hygrometers import price increased by +79.4% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 an increase of 43% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per unit), while the price for Belgium ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
