The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 13% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2016, imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

Turkey (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of other chemical products imports to Greece, together accounting for 61% of total imports. The Netherlands, Belgium, Bulgaria, South Korea, Vietnam, Spain, France, the UK, India and Hungary lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 29%.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2016, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per ton), while the price for Turkey ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
