Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, pumpkin imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a mild decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 46%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Turkey (X tons) constituted the largest pumpkin supplier to Greece, accounting for a 81% share of total imports. Moreover, pumpkin imports from Turkey exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Spain (X tons), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by the Netherlands (X tons), with a 5.4% share.
