Overall, consumption, however, showed a perceptible reduction. Wooden kitchen furniture consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, shipments abroad of wooden furniture for kitchens decreased by -21.8% to X units, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Overall, exports, however, saw a moderate expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by 82%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X units in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, wooden kitchen furniture exports expanded to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed buoyant growth.
