The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 19%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, tomato puree imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded buoyant growth. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Chile (X tons), the United States (X tons) and China (X tons) were the main suppliers of tomato puree imports to Guatemala, together comprising 97% of total imports.
