Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, beet-pulp and bagasse exports expanded sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 359% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Austria (X tons) was the main destination for beet-pulp and bagasse exports from Hungary, accounting for a 71% share of total exports. Imports into Hungary

In 2022, the amount of beet-pulp and bagasse imported into Hungary surged to X tons, rising by 82% against the year before. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 160%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, beet-pulp and bagasse imports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed mild growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 92% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
