Romania (X square meters), Serbia (X square meters) and Slovakia (X square meters) were the main destinations of ceramic tile exports from Hungary, together comprising 78% of total exports. The Czech Republic, Sweden, Germany, Lithuania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 19%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Lithuania (with a CAGR of +1.5%), while the other leaders experienced a decline.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of 31%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

Poland (X square meters), Italy (X square meters) and Spain (X square meters) were the main suppliers of ceramic tile imports to Hungary, together accounting for 74% of total imports.
