Common Pottery Market Size in Hungary

For the seventh consecutive year, Hungary recorded growth in overseas purchases of common pottery, which increased by 3.3% to X tons in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 52%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, common pottery imports reached $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 58%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

Poland (X tons), China (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons) were the main suppliers of common pottery imports to Hungary, with a combined 74% share of total imports. Germany, Italy, Hong Kong SAR, the Netherlands and Romania lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 20%.
