The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 163% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then reduced notably in the following year.

In value terms, mushroom and truffle imports fell significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 269%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then shrank significantly in the following year.

Imports by Country

In 2022, Poland (X tons) was the main mushroom and truffle supplier to Hungary, with a 97% share of total imports. It was followed by Romania (X tons), with a 2.1% share of total imports. The third position in this ranking was held by the Netherlands (X tons), with a 0.4% share.
