The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -13.1% against 2017 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 34% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. In value terms, non-reinforced rubber tubing imports expanded to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 25% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
Germany (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main suppliers of non-reinforced rubber tubing imports to Hungary, with a combined 75% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Spain, China, Japan, France, Italy and the Netherlands, which together accounted for a further 16%.
