In value terms, Bangladesh ($X) remains the key foreign market for gravel and crushed stone exports from India, comprising 79% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Maldives ($X), with a 1.6% share of total exports.

In 2021, the United Arab Emirates (X tons) constituted the largest gravel and crushed stone supplier to India, accounting for a 67% share of total imports. Moreover, gravel and crushed stone imports from the United Arab Emirates exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Oman (X tons), sevenfold. Egypt (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with an 8.5% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume from the United Arab Emirates amounted to -17.0%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Oman (-21.3% per year) and Egypt (+61.3% per year).

In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constituted the largest supplier of gravel and crushed stone to India, comprising 58% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Egypt ($X), with a 12% share of total imports. It was followed by Oman, with an 8.9% share.
