Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, mixed condiment, sause and seasoning exports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 57%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

The United States (X tons), the UK (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) were the main destinations of mixed condiment, sause and seasoning exports from India, with a combined 36% share of total exports. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 59%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

Egypt, with a CAGR of +55.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for mixed condiments, sauses and seasonings stood at $X per ton in 2022, surging by 13% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a slight decrease. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
