The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008 when exports increased by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, exports hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Nigeria (X units) was the main destination for motorcycle and scooter exports from India, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, motorcycle and scooter exports to Nigeria exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Colombia (X units), threefold. Nepal (X units) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Nigeria amounted to +X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Colombia (+X% per year) and Nepal (+X% per year).

Bangladesh, Mexico, the Philippines, Kenya, Guatemala, Uganda, Guinea, Sri Lanka, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X Republic of the Congo recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
