Nepal (X tons), Oman (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) were the main destinations of exports of plastic fittings for tubes, pipes and hoses from India, with a combined 26% share of total exports. France, Germany, the United States, the UK, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Qatar, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Gambia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 40%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Bhutan (with a CAGR of +214.5%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average export price for plastic fittings for tubes, pipes and hoses amounted to $X per ton, growing by 2.4% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a strong expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +7.7% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, export price for plastic fittings for tubes, pipes and hoses decreased by -5.4% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 26%. In 2021, overseas purchases of plastic fittings for tubes, pipes and hoses were finally on the rise to reach X tons after two years of decline. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. Imports peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, imports of plastic fittings for tubes, pipes and hoses soared to $X in 2021. In general, imports recorded a buoyant expansion. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Israel, with a CAGR of +51.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for plastic fittings for tubes, pipes and hoses stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 66% against the previous year. In general, the import price enjoyed prominent growth. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
