In value terms, prepared mustard imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 66% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. In 2021, the United States (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of prepared mustard to India, accounting for a 58% share of total imports. Moreover, prepared mustard imports from the United States exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, France (X tons), fourfold.
