In value terms, rennet imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 301% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

China (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Turkey (X tons) were the main suppliers of rennet imports to India, with a combined 83% share of total imports.
