After nine years of growth, the Indian steam turbine market decreased by -9.6% to $X in 2021. In general, consumption, however, showed significant growth. Over the period under review, the market reached the peak level at $X in 2020, and then dropped in the following year.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Bangladesh stood at +76.4%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Iran (+71.6% per year) and Malaysia (+10.3% per year).

The average steam turbine export price stood at $X per unit in 2021, with a decrease of -87.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, posted resilient growth.
