For the third consecutive year, the Indian wooden kitchen furniture market recorded decline in sales value, which decreased by -20.1% to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, consumption recorded a pronounced descent. Wooden kitchen furniture consumption peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, consumption failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, the average wooden kitchen furniture export price amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -4.2% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a deep contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the average export price increased by 63% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last decade.
