In 2021, imports of acetic acid into Indonesia skyrocketed to X tons, jumping by 26% on the previous year. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a perceptible shrinkage. Imports peaked at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, acetic acid imports soared to $X in 2021. In general, imports recorded noticeable growth. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
