In general, imports posted strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 287%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, albumins and albuminates imports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 327% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
