Imports into Indonesia
After two years of growth, supplies from abroad of aluminium doors, thresholds for doors and windows decreased by -22.6% to X tons in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 49%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2020, and then fell notably in the following year.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume from China totaled +16.4%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Singapore (-12.2% per year) and Malaysia (+13.7% per year).
In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of aluminium doors, thresholds for doors and windows to Indonesia, comprising 73% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by South Korea ($X), with a 6.7% share of total imports. It was followed by Singapore, with a 4.7% share.
