The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Imports into Indonesia
In 2022, the amount of green beans imported into Indonesia surged to X tons, growing by 18% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports saw perceptible growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 498% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, green bean imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 627%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. Ethiopia (X tons), Singapore (X tons) and Myanmar (X tons) were the main suppliers of green bean imports to Indonesia, with a combined 99% share of total imports.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Ethiopia ($X per ton), while the price for Myanmar ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
