Vietnam (X units), Singapore (X units) and Japan (X units) were the main destinations of fuel or lubricating pump exports from Indonesia, together accounting for 50% of total exports. These countries were followed by India, Brazil, China, Thailand, the United States, Malaysia and Taiwan (Chinese), which together accounted for a further 44%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for China (with a CAGR of +49.0%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for fuel or lubricating pump exported from Indonesia were Vietnam ($X), China ($X) and India ($X), together comprising 50% of total exports.
China, with a CAGR of +52.6%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average fuel or lubricating pump export price stood at $X per unit in 2021, increasing by 2.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a abrupt contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 8.6%. Imports into Indonesia
In 2021, supplies from abroad of fuel, lubricating or cooling-medium pumps for internal combustion engines was finally on the rise to reach X units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Overall, imports, however, recorded a abrupt downturn. Imports peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, fuel or lubricating pump imports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a deep downturn. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
China (X units), Japan (X units) and Thailand (X units) were the main suppliers of fuel or lubricating pump imports to Indonesia, with a combined 87% share of total imports. The United States, Singapore and Vietnam lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 6.7%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Vietnam (with a CAGR of +173.9%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.
In value terms, Japan ($X) constituted the largest supplier of fuel, lubricating or cooling-medium pumps for internal combustion engines to Indonesia, comprising 46% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Thailand ($X), with a 20% share of total imports. It was followed by China, with a 17% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Japan stood at -6.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Thailand (+5.1% per year) and China (-16.3% per year).

Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a perceptible slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 9.8%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2019 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
