The United States (X units), Japan (X units) and Belgium (X units) were the main destinations of radio receiver exports from Indonesia, with a combined 46% share of total exports. Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Canada, Australia, Russia, Spain and Thailand lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 44%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for China (with a CAGR of +31.2%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the United States ($X), Belgium ($X) and Japan ($X) were the largest markets for radio receiver exported from Indonesia worldwide, together comprising 52% of total exports. Singapore, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, China, Germany, Russia, Australia, Canada, Thailand and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 38%.
Among the main countries of destination, China, with a CAGR of +36.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average radio receiver export price amounted to $X per unit, surging by 10% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, radio receiver export price increased by +25.2% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average export price increased by 65%. Imports into Indonesia
In 2022, overseas purchases of radio receivers increased by 45% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after two years of decline. In general, imports recorded moderate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 155%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, radio receiver imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports saw resilient growth. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
Thailand (X units), China (X units) and Hong Kong SAR (X units) were the main suppliers of radio receiver imports to Indonesia, together comprising 94% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Hong Kong SAR (with a CAGR of +38.4%), while imports for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.
