Italy, the United States, France, Hong Kong SAR, Slovakia, South Korea, Taiwan (Chinese), Austria, Turkey and Romania lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 33%.

Among the main exporting countries, Turkey, with a CAGR of +10.4%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in Indonesia stood at $X per ton in 2022, surging by 101% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a deep downturn. The Indonesia export price peaked at $X per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest roller bearing importing markets into Indonesia were Germany ($X), India ($X) and Canada ($X), together comprising 21% of total imports. Thailand, Singapore, Italy, France, Poland, South Korea, Malaysia, Austria, Spain and Nigeria lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 23%.

Austria, with a CAGR of +3.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

The import price in Indonesia stood at $X per ton in 2022, which is down by -2.8% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the import price increased by 46% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs at $X per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
