Japan (X tons) was the main destination for non-reinforced rubber tubing exports from Indonesia, with a 53% share of total exports. Moreover, non-reinforced rubber tubing exports to Japan exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Malaysia (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Thailand (X tons), with a 9.2% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Japan totaled +14.4%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Malaysia (+28.5% per year) and Thailand (+32.4% per year).
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the average non-reinforced rubber tubing export price amounted to $X per ton, reducing by -15.9% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average export price increased by 57% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Australia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Singapore (+16.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Indonesia
After two years of decline, supplies from abroad of rubber tubing not reinforced increased by 19% to X tons in 2021. In general, imports, however, showed a noticeable contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 54%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, non-reinforced rubber tubing imports contracted to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, recorded a perceptible descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 123%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
Malaysia (X tons), China (X tons) and Japan (X tons) were the main suppliers of non-reinforced rubber tubing imports to Indonesia, together accounting for 72% of total imports. Thailand, Turkey, Australia and Singapore lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 22%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Australia (with a CAGR of +38.4%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X), Japan ($X) and Malaysia ($X) appeared to be the largest non-reinforced rubber tubing suppliers to Indonesia, together accounting for 63% of total imports. These countries were followed by Australia, Thailand, Singapore and Turkey, which together accounted for a further 25%.
