After four years of growth, the Indonesian shipping market decreased by -5.3% to $X in 2021. In general, consumption, however, showed a mild increase. Over the period under review, the market reached the peak level at $X in 2020, and then declined in the following year.

The second position in the ranking was taken by Croatia ($X), with a 17% share of total exports. It was followed by Australia, with a 4.5% share.

Japan (X units), India (X units) and Malaysia (X units) were the main suppliers of shipping imports to Indonesia, with a combined 58% share of total imports.
