Strawberry imports into Indonesia shrank rapidly to X tons in 2022, with a decrease of -41.4% against 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a tangible expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 313%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2021, and then shrank sharply in the following year.

In value terms, strawberry imports fell to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 228%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.

South Korea (X tons), the United States (X tons) and Australia (X tons) were the main suppliers of strawberry imports to Indonesia, together accounting for 83% of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Australia (with a CAGR of +39.0%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
