Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Saudi Arabia (X tons), Malaysia (X tons) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) were the main destinations of frozen sweet corn exports from Indonesia, with a combined 98% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Saudi Arabia (with a CAGR of +358.2%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average export price increased by 165% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2013; afterwards, it flattened through to 2021.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Taiwan (Chinese) ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Taiwan (Chinese) (+12.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Indonesia
Frozen sweet corn imports into Indonesia reduced to X tons in 2021, which is down by -11.6% compared with the year before. Over the period under review, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 31%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then fell in the following year.
In value terms, frozen sweet corn imports fell dramatically to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed a perceptible decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 23% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Thailand (X tons), China (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main suppliers of frozen sweet corn imports to Indonesia, with a combined 96% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in the United States (with a CAGR of +86.0%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Thailand ($X), China ($X) and the United States ($X) constituted the largest frozen sweet corn suppliers to Indonesia, with a combined 91% share of total imports.
The United States, with a CAGR of +94.1%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
