After four years of growth, the Indonesian frozen sweet corn market decreased by -8% to $X in 2021. Frozen sweet corn imports into Indonesia reduced to X tons in 2021, which is down by -11.6% compared with the year before. Over the period under review, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 31%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then fell in the following year.

In value terms, frozen sweet corn imports fell dramatically to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed a perceptible decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 23% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
