Germany (X cubic meters), Poland (X cubic meters) and Ukraine (X cubic meters) were the main destinations of wood residues exports from Indonesia, together accounting for X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Austria, Vietnam, Belgium, France, Norway, Belarus, Spain, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Canada, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in Belarus, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for wood residues exported from Indonesia were Germany ($X), Belgium ($X) and Ukraine ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Canada, Austria, Vietnam, Spain, Poland, France, Norway, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Belarus, which together accounted for a further X terms of the main countries of destination, Belarus (+X% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average wood residues export price stood at $X per cubic meter in 2020, rising by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price posted a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2012 an increase of X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, average export prices attained the maximum in 2020 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2020, the country with the highest price was Canada ($X per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to Belarus ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.

In 2020, supplies from abroad of wood residues increased by X% to X cubic meters, rising for the third consecutive year after ten years of decline. In general, imports showed a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2020 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, wood residues imports rose rapidly to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed strong growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2020 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
Imports by Country
France (X cubic meters), Austria (X cubic meters) and Belgium (X cubic meters) were the main suppliers of wood residues imports to Indonesia, together comprising X% of total imports. These countries were followed by Germany, Italy, Norway, Canada, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, the U.S., Finland and Slovakia, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Slovakia, while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, import price indicated a tangible increase from 2007 to 2020: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2020 figures, wood residues import price increased by +X% against 2018 indices.
