Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, x-ray generator imports contracted markedly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a perceptible increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 180% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X tons), Singapore (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of x-ray generator imports to Indonesia, with a combined 58% share of total imports.
