In value terms, iron angle exports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, exports saw a noticeable expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when exports increased by 2,234%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Iraq (X tons), Afghanistan (X tons) and Georgia (X tons) were the main destinations of iron angle exports from Iran, with a combined 62% share of total exports. Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 31%.
