Artificial Fur Market Size in Iran

In 2022, the Iranian artificial fur market decreased by -0.1% to $X, falling for the second year in a row after five years of growth. In 2022, imports of artificial fur into Iran shrank rapidly to X tons, falling by -39.2% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed a temperate expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 335%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, artificial fur imports dropped remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 325%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Thailand (X tons), China (X kg) and the United Arab Emirates (X kg) were the main suppliers of artificial fur imports to Iran, together accounting for 99.9% of total imports.
