As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, baby clothes exports declined remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a deep slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when exports increased by 6,134% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Armenia (X tons) was the main destination for baby clothes exports from Iran, accounting for a 38% share of total exports. Moreover, baby clothes exports to Armenia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Germany (X kg), twofold. Sweden (X kg) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 4.2% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Armenia amounted to -4.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (+7.7% per year) and Sweden (+120.0% per year).
In value terms, the largest markets for baby clothes exported from Iran were Armenia ($X), Germany ($X) and Sweden ($X), together accounting for 53% of total exports. France, the Netherlands and Switzerland lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 9.1%.
France, with a CAGR of +67.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Azerbaijan (+22.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Iran
In 2022, the amount of babies clothing and accessories (not knitted or crocheted) imported into Iran soared to X tons, jumping by 18% against the year before. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a abrupt decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 144% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, baby clothes imports rose rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, imports saw a tangible increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 188% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. Imports by Country
In 2022, Turkey (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of baby clothes to Iran, accounting for a 84% share of total imports. Moreover, baby clothes imports from Turkey exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X tons), sevenfold.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Turkey stood at +42.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: China (+16.7% per year) and India (-8.7% per year).
