In value terms, degras imports fell slightly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a precipitous descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 246% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

Kazakhstan (X tons), Russia (X tons) and Turkmenistan (X tons) were the main suppliers of degras imports to Iran, together comprising 96% of total imports.
