Magnesite Market Size in Iran

In 2021, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in the Iranian magnesite market, when its value increased by 8.3% to $X. In 2021, the amount of magnesite imported into Iran skyrocketed to X tons, picking up by 115% on 2020 figures. Over the period under review, imports posted significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 146% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, magnesite imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports posted significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 310%. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
