Wheelchair Market Size in Iran

After three years of decline, the Iranian wheelchair market increased by 76% to $X in 2021. In general, consumption, however, faced a deep reduction. As a result, consumption reached the peak level of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of the market remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, purchases abroad of wheelchairs increased by 39% to X units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Overall, imports, however, saw a deep slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 137%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, wheelchair imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a deep setback. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
